What new parents need to know about Spring Break

As the mom to a young child, it brought back fond memories when I got my son’s school calendar and saw that he’d be out for a week over Spring Break. My first thought was where should we go, then my second thought was, I wonder how long his Grandma will watch him! So yes, I am taking a vacation over Spring Break without my actual child who is on Spring Break and here’s why… who needs the break more, me or him?!

And if you’re a parent reading this, then you already know the answer! So, since I missed my 10 year wedding anniversary because I was traveling, I’m surprising my husband (who is an avid golfer), with a stay at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, FL. Is PGA National Resort kid friendly? Of course it is, but since my husband wants to golf and I want to spa, it also makes for a perfect adults only getaway.

Here are some fast facts about PGA National Resort, and why you should consider an adults only spring break:

  1. No matter where you live, it’s easy to get there- Fly into Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, or Miami and we’ll arrange a private car, helicopter, or you can take the Brightline train.

  2. There are 6 championship golf courses and a 40,000 sq. ft. newly renovated spa- You can seriously spend all day playing golf or all day at the spa.

  3. Choose between a secluded cottage with room to spread out or one of the updated guestrooms- The Serena & Lily designed cottages are 1,200 sq. ft. and stand alone for the peace and quiet that you deserve!

  4. As a preferred partner with PGA National Resort, I can make your stay extra special with lots of complimentary VIP amenities.
